Why Novobit?

Novobit is a privately owned company, founded and managed by Junqing Bi and his family.

After earning his PhD in laser optics from the University of Bern and working as a product manager for a leading Swiss cable manufacturer, Junqing Bi established Novobit with a clear mission: to provide Europe with high-quality passive fiber optic components at an affordable price.

Today, Novobit’s strong commitment to manufacturing depth and quality has earned us a reputation as a trusted partner in global markets.

With a state-of-the-art 20,000 m² manufacturing plant and sales offices in Switzerland, Sweden, and China, we deliver top-tier products with exceptional speed and service.

True Product Quality

At Novobit, we believe that true product quality in fiber optics can only be achieved through high manufacturing depth. That’s why we handle every step of production in-house—from bare 250μm buffer cable manufacturing and connector casing molding to final interferometry testing.

Cable production expertise for internal cables

Our cable manufacturing lines comply with the latest CPR and UL regulations and can produce up to 72-fiber products. We operate a fully equipped test lab with environmental chambers to ensure IEC compliance for all cables.
State-of-the-art automated cable stripping, self-developed high-end curing ovens, and advanced polishing equipment guarantee fast and high-quality connector production.

Experienced Engineering Team

Novobit’s connectors are designed by our experienced engineering team and manufactured using our injection molding machines, ensuring consistently tight tolerances.

To guarantee fail-proof production, we utilize well-calibrated, state-of-the-art interferometry equipment. We continuously enhance our manufacturing capabilities and optimize efficiency across the supply chain to deliver innovative and durable products to our customers.
